Different Dimension: Fall 2013 Swatches & Review

Well, hello, my friends! It’s been awhile. I am having some camera issues. My camera just stopped turning on! I’m so sad! But I think I’ve figured something out. We’ll see how this works!  It feels good to be back 🙂

Today I have eight amazing polishes from the 2013 Different Dimension Fall Collection.  Lots of swatches!

This is Dueling Unicorns, a bright purple linear holo.  I can’t love this more.  It’s just magical.  First photo is indoors and the second is direct sunlight. Three coats, no top coat.

Nessie’s Revenge is a bright, true green linear holo.  This was definitely the most holographic of the four in this collection and easily my favorite.  Of all my holo polishes, this color is truly unique.  It was named after the Lochness Monster!  First photo is indoors and the second is direct sunlight. Three coats, no top coat.

Chocolate is obviously a chocolate brown linear holo.  I normally hate reviewing brown polish because I just can’t stand the poopy color on my nails.  I feel like I give an unfair opinion just because I dislike the color so much.  Haha.  Well, not the case for this one.  It’s gorgeous.  I can honestly say I would wear this again.  It’s really pretty for fall!  First photo is indoors and the second is direct sunlight. Three coats, no top coat.

Lucky  is a gorgeous berry red linear holo.  It was completely opaque in three coats.  Another great gem color for fall.  First photo is indoors and the second is direct sunlight. Three coats, no top coat.

Cranfairy is a raspberry jelly loaded with hot pink, burgundy, and fuchsia glitters.  I’m such a sucker for jelly glitter polishes, and when they involve pink, I’m sold! Haha!  Love this one.  Two coats and top coat.

Mystified is a glitter topper with caramel, brown, and lavender glitters in a clear base.  This is one coat dabbed over Essie Chinchilly with top coat.  Great formula and glitter coverage.

Lucid Dreams is a nude off white crelly packed with tons of different sized holo gold glitters.  I had to swatch this about four different times before I was happy with the photos.  It is SO much better in real life.  Those holo gold glitters stand out way more!  You can kind of see some of them sparkling in the bottle in the photo. So so soft and pretty!  Again, great formula.  This is two coats with top coat.

Last but definitely not least is Scarlet & Grey Remix.  The polish creator, Missi, is from Ohio so she’s a Buckeyes fan!  This polish pays homage to her team consisting of grey, white, and red glitters in a clear base. This can also be a great holiday polish if you’re not a football fan!  I dabbed one coat over Sinful Colors Slate.  Great formula and glitter coverage.

This collection can be purchased from the Different Dimension Etsy shop.  It should be restocked sometime in early October!  You can like the Different Dimension Facebook Fan page and follow Missi on Instagram (@missibarry) for details on restock dates and new collection releases.
