These are gel nails, even the glitter. The chevron pattern was actually hand painted by my manicurist. Amazingly perfect, right??!! She's good.
Anyway, I've gotten a LOT of inquiries about the chevron. If you can't find a nail salon as awesome as mine (heehee), I know of some nail patterns called Jamberrys. They have the EXACT chevron pattern like on my nail and also other colors. Contact Dessa Patten to order. She has a Facebook Fan page called "North Mississippi Jamberry Nails by Dessa Patton." ReplyDeleteThese are gel nails. So the chevron was made by using white gel and then black paint and a small brush was used to paint the chevron pattern. Clear gel over the top made it shiny :)

ReplyDeleteSorry! The gel they use is from Japan. LOL. The owner brings them new gel when she comes and it's all in Japanese. The glitter is just a soft silver powder. They number their glitter on their own so I don't know that either. Sorry! If you search for a coral neon pink and find any loose silvery glitter it should be close enough, no matter what brand!! Good luck!

ReplyDeleteThe salon wasn't the one who wouldnt tell me. It was me telling you I don't know the brand because I can't read Japanese and Ive never asked them. The clear they use is Tammy Taylor. That's all I know. The glitter is in clear pots that they divide up themselves and they number to keep track so I don't even see the brand on that. So yes, I realize it's a brand but I've just never asked what it is.
